Each of the 150 guest rooms features picture windows and decks or balconies with views of the ocean and coast. The rooms are air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter.
Next to the main building is a new 20,000 square-foot oceanfront spa with a 75' indoor pool, an outdoor pool, whirlpool, fitness center, private dining areas, and thirty-two oversized guest rooms with gas-fired wood stoves and wet bars.
One of the most intriguing new features is an outdoor pool with a vanishing edge. The pool is situated in such a way that while you're in it, you have the illusion that the edge of the pool actually blends into the ocean. There's also an outdoor whirlpool.
On the spa terrace high above the sea, there's a circular labyrinth walking path outlined with Maine stones. Labyrinths are an ancient device used to center the mind and encourage introspection or walking meditation.
