Friends of the Kotzschmar Organ
For the past 93 years, Portland's mighty Kotzschmar Memorial Organ, with its more than 6800 pipes, has enthralled concert goers in City Hall's Merrill Auditorium. On many Tuesday evenings at 7:30, from June through August, you can relax in beautiful Merrill Auditorium and listen to classics concerts performed by a variety of organists from around the world. Admission to the concerts is a suggested $10.00 at the door.

Blistered Fingers Family Bluegrass Festival
Sidney, Maine is home to one of the largest family events in New England, the Blistered Fingers Bluegrass Festival held June 15th - 18th and August 24th - 27th, 2006 at the Silver Spur Riding Club. Tickets are $45 to $50 in advance and $55 at the gate. The fee includes rough camping and admission to all concerts in the series, or you can pay $10 to $20 for one day's concert (depending on the day). Children with an adult are free. Bowdoin International Music Festival
Every summer, The Bowdoin Summer Music Festival presents internationally renowned artists in concert on Wednesday and Friday nights. This year's festival takes place June 24th through August 5th, 2006 in Crooker Theater at Brunswick High School. Season subscriptions are $150.00. Individual tickets are $30.00 each. Bar Harbor Music Festival
The Bar Harbor Music Festival is an acclaimed series of classical and popular concerts held at various locations in Bar Harbor on July 2nd through the 30th, 2006. The music festival features pianists, violinists, and vocalists.

LL Bean Summer Concert Series
Pack a picnic, bring your lawn chairs or pull up a piece of lawn at the LL Bean Discovery Park outside LL Bean's flagship store in Freeport, and settle in for an evening of music under the stars, free! Concerts take place on Saturday evenings from July 8th to September 2nd, 2006, plus Tuesday, July 4th and Sunday, July 5th. Enjoy the talents of local and national performers, from jazz to folk and a cappella to zydeco.

Saltwater Music Festival
The Saltwater Music Festival is an annual eclectic roots music festival that takes place on Brunswick's beautiful Thomas Point Beach in August, 2006. Exact date to be determined.

Alive at Five Outdoor Concert Series
Monument Square in downtown Portland is a happening place on Thursdays after work with live music performed outdoors by national and regional recording artists. The Alive at Five Outdoor Concert Series takes place Thursdays, July 6th through August 10th, 2006 from 5:00 to 7:30 pm. Free for all ages.

North Atlantic Blues Festival
The annual North Atlantic Blues Festival takes place on the waterfront at Harbor Park in Rockland. This popular blues festival features many popular blues performers and takes place on July 15th and 16th, 2006. Portland Chamber Music Festival
The Portland Chamber Music Festival takes place at Ludcke Auditorium on Stevens Avenue in Portland, weekends August 17th - 20th and 24th - 26th, featuring nationally and internationally acclaimed performers.
